David Glass was born and educated in Vancouver British Columbia. Appreciating the arts at an early age, David devoted much of his time to the study of art history and to the development of his artistic skills. By his twenties he was traveling extensively to visit the art galleries of France and Italy. On one of these trips he settled in Florence, Italy to attend art school, studying portrait and landscape drawing and painting. It was during his schooling in Florence that he also developed his passion for the camera lens.

Although based in Vancouver, David still continues his treks to Europe where he is constantly inspired by art, history and beauty.

As a busy British Columbia photographer, using a photojournalist style he is able to capture the spontaneous, candid moments as well as using a creative portrait technique to make up a successful photography session. His success lies in great measure in his intense interest and great rapport with his subjects.
